A fun time was had by all on the 16-17-18 of September 2011.
On the 16th we met at the Semmes Recreation/Community
Center from 6-9 pm.
We had young people and old cars. There was a 1955 Chevy and a 1958 Chevy Impala Convertible
On Saturday the 17, we met at Oak Hollow Farms for a luncheon from 12-4 pm.
Larry Black was the MC and he did
a fantastic job.
He even had Nadine from Larry's Country Diner there.
Larry has a TV Show, "Larry's
Country Diner", on Thursday Nights at 7pm on RFD Channel.
On Friday Night Larry produces, "Country Family
Reunion", at 7pm. If you can get the channel, you should watch it.
We had Teachers Nina Campbell and
Faye Carmichael and the Assistant Principal Floyd Replogle and his wife Ethyl.
After the luncheon we had classmates
come to the Hospitality Room at the Grand Hotel. We had 20 classmates/spouses/friends stay at the Grand. Some
that came to the Hospitality were not staying at the Grand, but came to visit.
On Sunday Morning, We had a Prayer
Meeting, with the Preacher, and again Larry Black did a fantastic job. After that we all went to eat Breakfast.
After that we all went home. Everyone would have liked to continue.
